A native of West Philadelphia, Tomika McFadden is not only a powerhouse CEO, but a community activist, author and serial entrepreneur known for her unique leadership style. Her passion for empowering underserved populations across the Greater Philadelphia region is rooted in her experience growing up in poverty as a single mother raising children with special needs. Her personal testimony of faith and perseverance echoes her deep understanding of the challenges families encounter in the absence of much needed medical programs, services and assistance.

Prior to being CEO of Pennsylvania Care Associates, Tomika dedicated her life for over 20 years as a community activist and social entrepreneur. Since 1994, Tomika has consistently created spaces where individuals can obtain the tools to thrive which led her to founding Tea Talk, Inc., a non-profit organization that developed budding entrepreneurs, political leaders, and executives through conferences, seminars, trainings, and mentorship programs.

After mentoring hundreds of potential entrepreneurs and helping them navigate the maze of business ownership, in 2009 she decided to celebrate those who excelled. In doing so, Tomika founded “The Success Fair “and “The Scepter Of Success Awards” which showcased small business owners, and recognized individuals who exemplified excellence in entrepreneurship respectively. During this time Tomika also created one of Philadelphia’s first retention programs which received over $1 million in funding. Additionally, as a community organizer and director, she led the development of a neighborhood plan that received $76 million in funding and has been regarded as a national model for communities across the United States.

As an inspirational leader, Tomika McFadden has helped empower, mentor and speak to the hearts of many by dedicating her life and time to the service of others.
